Judge Judy: Brother vs Brother was a video which consisted of footage I shot and footage taken from YouTube videos of Judge Judy episodes. The basic premise was one brother suing the other over money they had made together playing a dangerous game to entertain tourists. The goal of this game was to earn enough money to move away from their small rural town. Once one brother decided he wanted to stay, the other denied him his half of the money. What ensued was a strange back and fourth between the characters.
The video was originally posted on YouTube. It managed to circulate into playlists of Judge Judy clips. After a few months the video gained a lot of 'dislikes'. One viewer left the comment "stupid". Not long after, the video was taken down for copyright issues and I received a strike on my account.
